Position Overview The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans that support: Gross motor development

Functional mobility
Confidence and independence in daily activities
Our sessions are active, hands-on, and engaging. You’ll spend your days on the floor, in the gym, on swings, on mats, celebrating milestones big and small. You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and supported in developing your clinical reasoning and treatment skills.

Requirements: Valid Illinois Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
Ability to pass a background check
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Openness to feedback, reflection, and growth
Physical Demands Because our work is active and child-centered, you must be able to: Kneel, sit (on a chair or floor), and stand with ease
Transition quickly between floor and standing positions
Lift up to 50 pounds independently
Walk up to one mile
Engage in running, jumping, climbing, swinging, and floor-based play
Safely support children on therapeutic equipment
