The GI Tech/SPD performs patient care duties, assists with endoscopic procedures, and maintains the unit environment under the direction of an RN. They are also responsible for transporting patients and supplies and handling medication delivery within the unit.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare field. A Certified Nursing Assistant or Sterile Processing Distribution certification is required.
