The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric patients, including conducting evaluations and establishing individualized treatment plans. They also collaborate with Physical Therapy Assistants and ensure timely documentation for insurance purposes.
A graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy is required, along with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience. Knowledge of neurological and developmental disorders in pediatrics is also necessary.

About the Job: The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric patients. Responsibilities include conducting thorough evaluations—gathering subjective and objective data, performing assessments, and determining prognoses—to establish individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans. Treatment plans are implemented and adjusted as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The therapist also develops and delivers educational programs tailored to each patient, involving family members when appropriate. Collaboration is key: appropriate cases are delegated to Physical Therapy Assistants, and clinical supervision is provided to new staff and student affiliates. The therapist ensures timely completion and processing of insurance and third-party payer documentation. Maintaining clinical competency is essential, including the use of safe, effective techniques and equipment appropriate to the therapist’s skill level. Who You Are: Graduate of accredited school of Physical Therapy required. CPR certification preferred.
