The Oncology Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the health status and needs of patients through the interpretation of health data. They work in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to provide preventative health practices and quality patient care.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current RN license. Additional requirements include BLS and ACLS certifications, along with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
The Oncology Registered Nurse is accountable for the health status and for health needs of patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
