The Resident Assistant supports residents with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care while fostering a safe and engaging environment. They collaborate with the nursing team to follow care plans and ensure the emotional and physical well-being of residents.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, though previous experience is not required as training is provided. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting residents with transfers.

The Resident Assistant supports residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), engagement, safety, and dignity while promoting independence whenever possible. The RA collaborates with the Health & Wellness Director, nursing team, and leadership to deliver exceptional care within the Better Living culture and the Better Days Memory Care philosophy.
This role requires compassion, consistency, teamwork, and the ability to create moments of joy throughout the day.
