The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients using standard procedures to enhance motor, sensory, cognitive, and interpersonal skills. They also collaborate with physicians to establish therapy goals and oversee the work of assistants, aides, and students.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and possess a current license to practice in the State of Michigan. Initial certification or eligibility for certification with the NBCOT is also required.
