Requires a graduate degree from a school of professional nursing and a current Montana RN license. Candidates must have at least two years of postpartum and newborn RN experience.
Our Birth Center is located within Logan Health Whitefish, a 25 bed critical access hospital in scenic Whitefish, MT. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in all areas of the birthing experience Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care Participate in a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement, and shared success Who you are: An experienced OB/Labor and Delivery nurse A calm, confident presence in high-stakes situations You value strong teamwork and communication skills Committed to patient-centered care and lifelong learning Able to work both independently and as part of a team Qualifications: Graduate from school of professional nursing required. Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required. Current AHA BLS certification or ability to successfully obtain within two (2) months of hire. IBCLC or CLC required for Postpartum Visit Nurse. Current NRP certification - within six (6) months of hire required. Minimum of two (2) years postpartum and newborn RN experience required. Shift: Night Shift - 12 Hours (United States of America) Schedule: This position will work 12-hour night shifts in a rotating 3 day per week and 2 day per week rotating schedule. Weekend and holiday rotation included. Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
