The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care, monitors patient conditions, and facilitates medication administration on a designated unit. They also participate in treatment team meetings and respond to crisis events to ensure patient safety.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited licensed practical nursing program and hold a valid Pennsylvania LPN license. One year of prior experience in drug and alcohol or mental health nursing is preferred.

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program One year prior experience in D&A and/or mental health nursing preferred but not required Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a licensed practical nurse.
