The Clinical Laboratory Assistant performs phlebotomy duties and assists with the receiving, processing, and transporting of specimens. Additionally, they handle clerical tasks, maintain supplies, and communicate test results to healthcare providers.
Applicants must have a high school diploma, Heartsaver CPR certification, and at least one year of phlebotomy experience. A PBT certification from ASCP or ASPT is preferred and should be obtained within two years of employment.
