The role involves recording patient vitals, assisting physicians with cardiovascular procedures, and documenting care in electronic medical records. Additionally, the assistant supports specialized clinics and maintains a safe, well-stocked clinical environment.
Candidates should be a licensed LPN in Louisiana or a certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, etc.), though non-certified MAs are eligible. Proficiency in phlebotomy, EKGs, and EMR systems is required along with strong interpersonal skills.
