Provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for patients with mental health and substance abuse issues within an integrated medical clinic. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans and provide crisis intervention services.
Requires a Master of Social Work and a current, unrestricted North Carolina license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC. Candidates must have at least 2 years of professional experience in an integrated medical or healthcare setting.
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker Clinician (LCSW) provides direct Licensed Clinical Social Worker services to clinic patients to improve and promote overall health, with a focus on addressing the behaviors that impede optimum health. This role coordinates services with the interdisciplinary team to provide consultation regarding mental health and/or substance use/abuse counseling while facilitating the development of a comprehensive plan of care to address the whole person. The LCSW adheres to all internal policies, widely accepted professional practice standards, and requirements for professional practice and licensure.
