The assistant is responsible for evaluating incoming emergency patients, prioritizing care, and assisting veterinarians with treatments and procedures. They also manage patient monitoring, anesthesia induction, and provide essential client education regarding home care and medications.
Prior veterinary experience is required, with a preference for those who have worked in emergency settings. Candidates must be proficient in medical calculations and capable of working efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
