Perform clinical diagnostic audiologic evaluations and manage adult amplification fitting and maintenance. Collaborate with ENT specialists to provide comprehensive care and maintain detailed patient progress notes.
Requires a current California Audiologist license, a Hearing Aid Dispensing License, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates have at least one year of experience and proficiency with specific hearing aid brands and EMR systems.
Perform clinical diagnostic audiologic evaluations, including but not limited to: adult comprehensive audiologic evaluations, evaluate, fit, verify and maintain adult amplifications There is a possibility of adding the following specialties (depending on location); pediatric audiologic evaluations, vestibular evaluations, cochlear implants, or bone anchored hearing devices. Communicate with patient and family and provide counseling when appropriate. Collaborate closely with ENT/HNS specialists to deliver comprehensive interdepartmental care for patients with hearing-related conditions. Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements in audiology, maintaining up-to-date knowledge and integrating best practices into clinical care. Write evaluation reports and daily progress notes on a timely basis. Maintain current knowledge in field of audiology. Prepare and present in-service education to staff and the community as needed. Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Thorough and organized. Detailed personality with excellent record keeping skills · Technical Capacity. (Preferred experience with Oticon, Phonak, Resound and Widex, if working with Cochlear implants Cochlear and AB, NOAH, and Epic EMR system).
