Coordinate and manage a portfolio of high-complexity clinical trials within the Department of Neurological Surgery. Responsibilities include managing regulatory documentation, recruiting participants, and ensuring compliance with FDA and University policies.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a medical or science-related field and at least 2 years of clinical research experience. BLS/CPR certification and ACRP or SOCRA certification are preferred.
JOB SUMMARY The CRC II will coordinate and manage a portfolio of high-complexity, investigator-initiated trials as well as grant and industry funded trials in the Department of Neurological Surgery. These include trials investigating the safety and efficacy of experimental drug for embolization treatment for subdural hematomas, sonodynamic therapy for GBM, deep brain stimulation for OCD and depression, functional restoration in paralyzed individuals using brain-computer interface implants, and complex investigative device trials for which the FDA IDE will be held by the PIs within our department.

Required Education Bachelor's Degree in medical or science related field Experience 2 years clinical research experience. May consider additional years of experience or advanced degree in lieu of education or experience, respectively. Preferred Licenses and Certifications (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT may be required based on research study protocols or affiliate location requirements. (CPRAED) CPR AED may be required based on research study protocols or affiliate location requirements. ACRP or SOCRA certification a plus.
