The Dental Hygienist will perform comprehensive assessments, including medical/dental history and periodontal exams, and provide necessary treatments such as prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and fluoride application. They will also be responsible for taking and interpreting X-rays, providing patient education, assisting the dentist, and supporting quality control efforts.
Candidates must possess an Associate degree or higher from a CODA-accredited hygiene program and hold a current, unrestricted Vermont dental hygiene license. A minimum of 1 year of full-time hygiene experience is required, along with a valid US driver's license and BLS/CPR certification.
Perform assessments (medical/dental history, periodontal exams, charting). Provide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride, polishing. Take and interpret X‑rays. Provide hygiene education and home‑care instruction. Assist dentist during procedures. Support reporting, quality control, and process improvement.
Associate degree or higher from CODA‑accredited hygiene program. Current, unrestricted VT dental hygiene license. At least 1 year of full‑time hygiene experience (VA experience preferred). Valid U.S. driver’s license. BLS/CPR certification. Strong communication and Microsoft 365 skills.
