The Mental Health Technician is responsible for maintaining patient safety through constant monitoring, conducting safety checks, and performing verbal de-escalation in crisis situations. They also provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and facilitating structured therapy groups.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a bachelor's degree in health or human services, or have three years of experience in behavioral health. Physical mobility and the ability to communicate fluently in English are required for the role.
