About the Role

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home assessments and develop individualized care plans for clients.
• Administer medications and monitor patients’ vital signs and health status.
• Provide wound care, catheter care, and other nursing services as needed.
• Educate clients and families on health management and care techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate health records.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as required.
• Build strong relationships with clients to enhance their comfort and trust.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home health or community settings.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred.

Compensation

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
