The LVN/LPT provides direct client care, including the administration of medications and injections. They are responsible for assessing physical health status and implementing nursing care plans tailored to psychiatric illness.
Requires a valid California LVN or LPT license and current CPR and First Aid certifications. New graduates are welcome, though experience in inpatient psychiatric settings is preferred.
Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age Employment is contingent on: Successfully completing a pre-employment Health Screening and a TB clearance Receipt of “clear” or approved Live Scan results and Criminal Background Clearance Education
NEW GRADS WELCOME - Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required. Associate's degree, preferred.
Experience One (1) year service experience treating the mentally ill in an inpatient setting, preferred. One (1) year medication administration experience, preferred.
License or Certification Valid California LVN or LPT license. Current CPR certification. First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross.
