Perform venipunctures to obtain and prepare blood specimens. Ensure all procedures are conducted in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and is open to entry-level candidates. Phlebotomy certification and one year of experience are preferred.
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Performs venipunctures, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:High School graduate or GED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Entry Level MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:None ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:One (1) year of experience as a phlebotomist preferred Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency is preferred. Basic knowledge of venipuncture/phlebotomy is preferred. Experience working in a hospital preferred. Business
