The Endoscopy Technician assists physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures and manages the delivery of specimens. They are also responsible for the cleaning, disinfection, and preventative maintenance of endoscopic equipment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a certificate or associate's degree in medical assisting or surgical technology, and BLS certification. Strong communication skills and knowledge of HIPAA guidelines are required.

IMS is searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Endoscopy Technician for our Gastroenterology Lab located in Avondale. The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for assisting physicians or registered nurses in endoscopy procedures, delivering specimens and conducting preventative maintenance on equipment.
