Provide 24-hour supervision and care for patients in a residential rehabilitation setting, including documenting behavior and assisting with activities of daily living. Implement treatment plans and behavior management programs while ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and preferably two years of experience in residential behavioral rehabilitation or working with disabled populations. Must hold current CPR, First Aid, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certifications along with a valid driver's license.
Observe, monitor, intervene, report, and document in patient’s EMR patient's social and interpersonal behavior and functional ability to perform as an independent individual in the community setting. Monitor and assist in residential ADL activities. Maintain accurate documentation and records in the patient’s EMR including ADL check sheets and intake/output. Carry out therapeutic activities designed by the clinical staff. Implement behavior management programs including the Levels system. Assist in the transport of patients to and from appointments, work, field trips, recreation activities, etc., as needed. Observe and document patient responses on ADL outings, such as shopping trips. Assist therapies upon request. Serve as a role model, at all times, maintaining professional dress and conduct. Participate in emergency procedure drills, including fire drills, evacuation drills, etc. Maintain confidentiality. Attend in-services and staff meetings. Assist in emergency situations including the implementation of fire alarm procedures and assist with the provision of first aid treatment in case of illness or injury. Provide a safe and secure environment for patients. Discharge duties in accordance with Moody Neuro organizational policy, CARF and other accrediting bodies Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Paycom, including timecard maintenance, employee scheduling and availability, PTO requests, and related workforce management activities. Other duties as assigned QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Required

Knowledge of philosophical and ethical considerations in rehabilitation practice. Hold current CPR and first aid certifications. Ability to communicate accurate and pertinent information through documentation. Ability to execute emergency procedures. Ability to work rotating shifts. Ability to assist patients with transfer in a wheelchair. Certified in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Current/valid Driver's license. EDUCATION High School diploma or GED preferred EXPERIENCE Prefer at least two years' experience in Residential Behavioral Rehabilitation Program, or 1-2 years experience with disabled population dealing with cognitive problem or 30- 60 hours of college will be substituted for experience.
