The Technical Assistant provides patient care services, maintains supplies and equipment, and applies infection control principles. They assist patients under the supervision of licensed nurses and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1 year of relevant experience preferred. Certification from the Virginia Board of Nursing is preferred for Technical Assistant II positions.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
1 year of relevant experience preferred. Previous healthcare experience preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.
