The technician assists physicians and nurse practitioners in managing patients with implanted cardiac devices. Responsibilities include clinical interrogation of pacemakers and ICDs, managing remote monitoring programs, and analyzing device transmissions.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited EKG school or a Cardiac Arrhythmia Technology Program. A CRAT certification and a Bachelor's degree are preferred.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Pacemaker/ICD Technician (FGP) - Manhattan, Medicine-Cardio.
In this role, the successful candidate
The Cardiac Device Technician is responsible for assisting the Nurse Practitioners and Physicians in the management of all patients with implanted cardiac devices requiring cardiac device therapy. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a remote monitoring program that includes scheduling, billing, downloading and analysis of clinical device transmissions. Typical duties will include clinical interrogation of pacemakers and Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator (ICD) devices; review of patient algorithms, and other clinical interrogation data and preparation of preliminary reports for physicians.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a
Graduate of an accredited EKG school, Graduate of a Cardiac Arrhythmia Technology Program, or equivalent training/experience in interpreting cardiac arrhythmias.
Certified Rhythm Analysis technician (CRAT) from CCI.Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $70,481.60 - $70,481.61 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
