Diagnose and manage Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational Diabetes, as well as thyroid and bone disorders for adult patients. Provide technical education and management for glucose monitoring devices and insulin pumps while collaborating with supervising physicians.
Must be a graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with a valid Massachusetts license and National Board Certification. Required certifications include DEA, MCSR, and current CPR/BLS.

Join a dedicated team at Northeast Endocrinology and Diabetes (NEED). We are seeking a motivated, experienced Advanced Practitioner (NP or PA) to provide high-quality outpatient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Location & Schedule Primary Base: Newburyport, MA (Outpatient Clinic) Satellite Site: Occasional hours in Haverhill, MA Hours: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Patient Care: 35 hours per week (Avg. 14–16 patients per day) Role Overview: Working alongside a supervising MD and an experienced NP, you will manage a diverse adult population (18+). This role offers a high degree of autonomy while maintaining a strong collaborative link with the physician for complex cases. Key Responsibilities: Specialized Care: Diagnose and manage Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational Diabetes, as well as thyroid and bone disorders. Tech-Forward Treatment: Provide education and management for CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring), Insulin Pumps, InPen, and V-Go devices. Clinical Management: Initiate and titrate insulin (including Humulin R U-500) and manage related conditions like hyperlipidemia and neuropathy pain. Collaborative Practice: Accept referrals, consult with primary care/specialties, and precept NP students.
Current, valid license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
