Mental Health Professional Assessor/Therapist Bilingual

About the Role

The MHPROF Assessor/Therapist provides comprehensive clinical services, including timely initial intake evaluations, interdisciplinary referrals, and direct therapeutic treatment, which may include brief or longer-term therapies. This position works across the lifespan (children to late adulthood) with diverse communities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field, valid licensure or certification as a counselor or equivalent in the state of employment.
• Must be fluent n English and Hmong.
• Have a minimum of three years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in a bilingual setting.
• Must have strong knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Training or certification in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or culturally responsive counseling preferred with experience working with diverse populations, including immigrants, refugees, or underserved communities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data management.
