The technician is responsible for cleaning, wrapping, sterilizing, storing, and distributing medical equipment and instruments. They ensure all supplies used in patient care are properly processed and available.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with basic computer skills. Candidates must complete certification coursework within two years of hire and maintain 12 annual CE credits.
