The Eligibility Specialist handles referrals and performs initial screenings for program eligibility. They manage all aspects of the enrollment process and coordinate information with designated staff to ensure quality care.
A high school diploma and at least 3 years of office experience in a hospital or community setting are required. An associate's degree is preferred.
1st Shift, 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
The Access Health Lakelands (AHL) Eligibility Specialist reports to the Manager of Accountable Care. The Eligibility Specialist receives referrals and completes initial screening for AHL eligibility. This position completes all aspects of enrollment into the program and forwards information to designated AHL staff. The AHL Eligibility Specialist participates in the team effort necessary to deliver quality client-centered care.
