Perform routine and specialized patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced PACU setting. Responsibilities include collecting patient data, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to implement care plans.
Requires a high school diploma or GED plus either a nursing assistant certification or enrollment in a BSN program with one clinical rotation. Candidates must have at least one year of direct patient care experience.
We are searching for a part time Patient Care Assistant for West Campus, PACU— someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform a variety of routine and specialized patient care activities, as assigned, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Care will be delivered that incorporates Family Centered Care cost-effectively and is developmental and age-appropriate for the patient population.
