This position is full time, days. The shift is Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts, varying start times from 5am-9am, with call rotating for one week at a time for all after hours including Saturday and Sunday, at Arnett Hospital.

• Under the direction of a physician, operation manager and with supervision of CT or MR, and Nuclear Medicine section team leaders, performs diagnostic studies utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and operation of PET/CT or PET/MR equipment for image acquisition and radiopharmaceutical distribution through organs, body functions and analyze biologic specimens. Performs diagnostic CT or MR and fusion of PET/CT or PET/MR images for physician interpretation. Treats patients with care and respect.
• Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
• Requires active status through one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine, RT (NM); or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB): CNMT.
• Requires advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, (NMTCB) within 18 months of hire, if working in PET CT.
• Requires advanced certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance, RT(MR); or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) within 18 months of hire, if working in PET MR.
• Requires experience as a technologist working in Nuclear Medicine and as a registered CT or MR technologist, as appropriate per modality.
• Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Requires knowledge of PACS/RIS for training and problem resolution.
• Requires knowledge of anatomy; physiology; mathematics; chemistry; physics; biology; radiation safety; clinical nuclear instrumentation; computer operation and laboratory techniques.
