Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

CT Tech Qualifications Educational Background

Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology with additional training in CT.

Certification

• ARRT Certification in Radiology is required.
• CT
• Registry: Must be CT Registry eligible or CT Registered. If CT Registry eligible, you must obtain CT registration within 6 months of your hire date.

• Support (BLS): BCLS certification is required.
