Performs advanced nursing or physician assistant functions within the cardiology department. Works directly with cardiac fellows to provide patient care from 4 PM to midnight.
Must be licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant services. Requires licensure from the State of Illinois and the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration for prescribing narcotics.
According to professional standards of care, performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served. JOB SPECIFICS: Works directly with the cardiac fellows 4PM - Midnight, Monday-Friday Call Requirements, Outpatient, Call is covered by 4-5 providers
