The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for caring for and maintaining all surgical instrumentation. They are also tasked with setting up necessary supplies and instruments for various surgery cases.
A high school diploma or GED is required, while CRCST or CSPDT certifications and two years of multi-specialty OR experience are preferred. Candidates should possess knowledge of medical instruments, surgical procedures, and the ability to maintain professional relationships with medical staff.
