Surgical Technologist PD

Minimum Qualifications

BASIC KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED is required Completion of at least one of the following options is required: Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program, or Graduate of a surgical technologist associate degree program, or Current certification as a CST, or Current NCCT-TC (tech in surgery) certification (for applicants with past military experience only; military experience as a surgical technologist will be strongly considered), or 3 years of experience within the past 5 years as a surgical technologist Successful completion of a Brown University Health on-the-job surgical technologist training program Current BLS Certification is required upon hire Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
