The RN will provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing pain procedures, including administering sedation and providing discharge instructions. Responsibilities also include managing patient charts and conducting medication reviews via reminder calls.
Candidates must hold a current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license and be BLS certified. A BSN degree and at least two years of nursing experience are preferred.
Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required. BSN degree preferred. RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first, required. Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing experience preferred. Current ACLS and PALS certification may be required in certain departments and successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire. Strong organizational, critical thinking, and prioritization skills; detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and diplomacy. Shifts may be 8 hours or 10 hours in length or include half day shifts. Currently, shifts typically fall on Monday, Wednesday, Thursdays and occasional Tuesdays depending on procedure schedules and physician availability. Must be flexible and able to work any of these days above as scheduled days may vary by week. Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
