Provide specialized dialysis care to patients in acute and post-acute settings while ensuring patient privacy and dignity. Collaborate with co-workers and supervisors to plan and execute nursing duties in a safe environment.
Requires a current Registered Professional Nurse license with at least 12 months of nursing experience, including 3 months in hemodialysis. Must hold BLS and CPR certifications and meet all state licensing requirements.
Job Requirements The Acute Registered Nurse must demonstrate familiarity with dialysis and hospital emergency procedures and the knowledge, skills, and judgment necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the dialysis patient in the acute or post-acute care setting. This position exercises a knowledge of patient rights and ensures an atmosphere that allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment. This individual cooperates and works together with all co-workers to plan and complete job duties with applicable supervisory direction, including exercising job-appropriate judgment.
