Responsible for the efficient collection of plasma from donors through venipuncture and monitoring the pheresis process. Ensures donor safety and product quality while maintaining accurate electronic records and adhering to SOPs and FDA guidelines.
Requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience, with one year preferred. Candidates in California must be a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or a Registered Nurse.
Internal CSL Employees Applicants must have successfully completed the CSL Plasma DST training. External candidates must have a minimum of 6 months’ experience as a phlebotomist; one year of experience is preferable. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. For Centers located in CA the following experience is also required: Persons performing automated plasmapheresis procedures must be at a minimum state certified as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I, OR Current Registered Nurse by the State of California. Different qualifications or responsibilities may apply based on local legal and/or educational requirements.
