Provide patient-centered nursing care across various departments including Medical/Surgical, ER, ICU, and Pediatrics. Responsibilities include performing assessments, administering treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Requires an active Montana RN or LPN license (or compact license) and BLS certification. Previous nursing experience is preferred, though new graduates are considered.
What You'll Do Provide patient-centered nursing care in Medical/Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, ER, ICU, Transitional Care, and Behavioral Health Perform assessments, administer medications/treatments, and document accurately Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, including emergencies Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams Supervise nonprofessional staff Educate patients and families and support safe, high-quality outcomes Follow safety, infection control, and hospital policies Maintain required competencies and participate in ongoing training LPNs: Practice under the supervision of an RN Additional RN Opportunity: Charge Nurse duties may be assigned once experience and leadership skills are demonstrated.
What We're Looking For Active Montana RN or LPN license (or compact license with multi‑state privileges) BLS certification required, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP preferred (may obtain after hire) Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills Previous nursing experience preferred (new grads considered) Ability to work occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call shifts as needed Physical Requirements Ability to ambulate without assistance and respond quickly in emergencies Able to perform CPR Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive tasks Ability to lift/move/reposition patients up to 50 lbs. using proper mechanics/equipment Ability to tolerate fast-paced environments and emotional demands Exposure to common hospital conditions (communicable diseases, body fluids, toxic substances, radiation) Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
