Provide basic bedside care and assist healthcare providers in monitoring and communicating with patients regarding medications and lifestyle changes. Responsibilities include recording medical histories, obtaining vital signs, and ensuring patient charts are accurately updated.
A CMA certification and BLS certification within 30 days of hire are preferred. At least one year of experience in a medical office is preferred.
CMA’s work under the supervision of the nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians to provide basic bedside care to patients. They also assist in monitoring, observing, and communicating with patients and their families about medication, at-home care, and preventative lifestyle changes.
