The Physical Therapist administers therapeutic interventions and conducts comprehensive assessments for patients in physical medicine and rehabilitation. They are responsible for directing treatment plans, supervising support personnel, and developing home programs for patients.
A valid Texas Physical Therapy License and BLS certification are required. One year of experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist is preferred.
The Physical Therapist (PT) administers and directs therapeutic interventions utilized in physical medicine and rehabilitation as prescribed by a physician. The PT provides service, conducts comprehensive assessments and directs treatment to individuals and groups, supervises the treatment being delivered by the PTA and directs support personnel, develops home programs, provides instruction to patients/families and participates in family and team conferences as appropriate, and evaluates and selects equipment.
