Perform direct patient care duties including rooming patients, taking vitals, and performing EKGs in a multi-specialty clinic. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, registration, and maintaining EMR files to ensure smooth patient flow.
Requires a high school diploma, graduation from a Medical Assistant program, and a current MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or CMAC). Must hold an AHA Basic Life Support certification and have knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA regulations.
