Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary healthcare, family planning, and abortion services in accordance with medical protocols. Perform clinical procedures, manage medical complications, and maintain accurate patient documentation and coding.
Requires a Virginia APRN license with prescriptive authority, specialization in Family Medicine, a DEA license, and BLS certification. Experience with LARC, ultrasound, and GAHT is preferred, though training is available for the right candidate.
The Virginia League for Planned Parenthood is seeking a Part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Hampton Roads!
VLPP Clinicians provide high quality patient centered care in accordance with practice protocols. This may include initiation and maintenance of patients seeking general (primary) healthcare, family planning services, gender-affirming hormone care and abortion services. Functions within the medical protocols established within the standards and guidelines and standing orders and as part of a patient care team.
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner experienced with LARC including IUDs and implants, medication abortion and ultrasound, GAHT and/or primary care, however, we are willing to train the right candidate. Clinicians with Autonomous Practice in Virginia are strongly encouraged to apply.
Virginia APRN license - to include prescriptive authority and specialization in Family Medicine, DEA license, Virginia RN license, current BLS certification
This position starts between $53.24 - $56.38 hourly. Candidates with Autonomous Practice in Virginia will be eligible for a higher starting rate of pay.
