The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and developing treatment plans for inpatient psychiatric services. They will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree or higher in psychiatric and mental health nursing with ANCC board certification and an active Kentucky RN license. BLS certification and experience working with adult psychiatric clients are also required.
Employee will be under the programmatic supervision of the Director of Medical Services. APRN will maintain a collaborating physician and supervisory agreement for the purpose of prescribing medication as required by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
