The Certified Medical Assistant supports dermatologists by rooming patients, scribing visit information, and assisting with various surgical procedures. They are also responsible for clinical tasks such as wound care, blood draws, and maintaining exam room supplies.
A high school diploma is required, and a certification as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN is strongly preferred. Candidates should ideally have over one year of recent experience in a medical office and proficiency with EMR systems.
