Prepares and administers medications and radiopharmaceuticals to patients to perform diagnostic imaging studies per physician orders. Monitors patient status, ensures equipment quality control, and analyzes imaging results for accuracy.
Requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine, a current Radiation Operator Certificate, and ARRT registration in Radiology. Must hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and possess strong critical thinking skills.
