The role involves the decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and trays using specialized equipment. It also requires maintaining strict documentation and coordinating with OR staff to ensure timely instrument turnover.
Candidates must hold a CRCST or equivalent certification and have previous sterile processing experience. Strong knowledge of infection prevention standards and organizational skills are required.
