The Medical Assistant supports physicians by interviewing patients, recording vital signs, and collecting laboratory specimens. They also manage patient flow, schedule appointments, and handle clinical communications and compliance needs.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and have completed a medical assistant program or possess one year of clinical experience. BLS certification and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and electronic health records are required.
