Perform a full range of thoracic oncologic procedures using state-of-the-art robotic platforms for benign and malignant conditions. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to lead quality improvement initiatives and engage in academic research.
Must be a fellowship-trained, board-certified or eligible thoracic surgeon with demonstrated proficiency in robotic techniques. Preference is given to candidates with 3-5 years of clinical experience in thoracic surgical oncology and a commitment to cancer research.
Seeking an experienced thoracic surgeon with robotic proficiency to join our accomplished team of three surgeons and six advanced practice providers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care through cutting-edge operative techniques for benign and malignant conditions of the lung, esophagus, mediastinum, and chest wall. This position offers the opportunity to engage in academic research, lead quality improvement initiatives that drive superior outcomes, and collaborate actively within the Northside Thoracic Oncology Program's multidisciplinary care model. Our established lung cancer screening program provides a robust patient referral base and supports early-stage disease detection.
Fellowship trained, board-certified or ABTS board-eligible thoracic surgeon. Demonstrated proficiency in robotic thoracic surgery required. 3 - 5 years' clinical experience in thoracic surgical oncology preferred. Commitment to team-based multidisciplinary care and collaboration Experience and commitment to cancer research and clinical trials is highly desirable.
