The technician is responsible for preparing patients, administering contrast media, and performing imaging procedures. They must also ensure equipment quality control and accurately report scan results.
Candidates must be graduates of a discipline-specific program and hold a Montana Radiologic Technologist license. ARRT and BCLS certifications are required within a specified timeframe after hire.
Tuesday 0800-1630, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 1330-2200. On-call Tuesdays 1630-0700 and every fourth weekend or so. Typically assigned to work 2 holidays a year.

How you'll contribute Reviews patient history and the physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning the patient and repeating the procedure. Enters, transmits, and reports scan results. What we’re looking for Education: Graduate of Program in Discipline License: MT Limited Radiologic Technologist or MT Radiologic Technologist License upon hire.
Certification: ARRT within 6 months of hire or three months post-graduation; BCLS within 90 days of hire
