The Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist 2 provides rapid, community-based mental health crisis interventions for individuals in acute crises. This role involves dispatching with EMS/911 and delivering psychiatric emergency services across the Emergency Department and community.
Candidates must have a Master's degree in social work or a related field and at least one year of experience as a behavioral health counselor. An active State of Alaska LCSW license and a valid Driver's License are also required.
The Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist 2 provides rapid, community-based mental health crisis interventions for individuals experiencing acute behavioral, emotional, or substance use crises. This role frequently dispatches with EMS/911 and delivers psychiatric emergency services across the Emergency Department and community. The position requires advanced assessment, de-escalation, and clinical decision-making skills to ensure immediate stabilization and safety. Minimum Qualifications for the Job: Education: Masters degree in social work or behavioral sciences in a licensable discipline by the Alaska Behavioral Regulatory Board.
