Perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics while adhering to safety and hospital protocols. Maintain equipment quality control and ensure accurate documentation and billing within the radiology information system.
Requires an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology and current ARRT-R and Ohio Department of Health certifications. Candidates must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and less than 2 years of experience as a Registered Technologist.
Education Associate's Degree Completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology with appropriate Certification. (Required) Work Experience less than 1 year Registered Technologist with less than 2 years' experience (Required) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Clear knowledge of x-ray equipment (digital/analog), image printers, computers, PACS and radiology information system. (Required proficiency) Must demonstrate effective organizational, written and oral communication skills and excellent customer service skills. (Required proficiency) Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including C-arms, portables, and various computers (Required proficiency) Must demonstrate effective organizational, written and oral communication skills.
